Police clothing comes in a number of forms, which are each oriented towards the role of the personnel concerned. We stock a wide range of clothes including jackets, shirts, trousers, base layers and boots. For example, we supply 5.11 5 in 1 jackets, 5.11 3 in 1 parkas, 5.11 response jackets, tactical shirts and HRT shirts. We also stock base layers including Under Armour HeatGear compression shorts and the Under Armour HeatGear T. Outer layers in stock include Snugpak Sleekas, also known as softies, Viper jackets, Arktis Stowaway shirts and waterproof fleeces.

5.11 manufacture a range of extremely high quality police clothing. For example, their tactical pants are not only apparel, but also police equipment! The high quality components used in 5.11’s clothing exemplifies that they commit themselves to quality. 5.11’s tactical pants are the ultimate blend of efficiency, durability and convenience. They are manufactured from high density canvas and include a Prym snap and YKK zip. The stitching is reinforced and there is a double-fabric seat to ensure a lifetime of use. This is coupled with double-fabric knees. There are also spacious pockets that allow storage of hand cuffs, torches and magazines. The front pocket is ideal for a mobile telephone and all of the pockets are made for easy access from any position. It is features such as these that have made 5.11’s clothing the premier choice for police personnel for more than 15 years!

Another item that we stock that is made by 5.11 is the 3 in 1 parka. This is a classic and is manufactured from a water-proof and breathable system. A nice feature of the parka is the inner fleece which can be worn alone or together with the parka to add extra warmth. Included with this parka are removable front and back panels, which can be printed on. This jacket is extremely warm because of the fleece pockets and removable hood. One really handy feature is the side zips, which allow you to easily get to your duty belt.

An essential piece of police clothing is slash resistant gloves. These look like a traditional glove, but have life saving attributes. Slash and cut protection is one benefit, but also these gloves can reduce fatigue of the hands. Viper produce a pair of slash resistant gloves which come lined with Dupont Kevlar, a material that is used in body armour. This material allows protection from sharp blades and glass for example. These gloves are perfect for duty use as they are smart looking and offer a good level of safety whilst also giving you confidence. 5.11 also produce a slash resistant glove which is manufactured from deer skin leather and comes with a Spectra knit lining, which is the protective material. Featured in this glove is 5.11’s Tactical Touch finger design.
